- On behalf of the Korean petrochemical industry, it is an honor for me to announce the upcoming Asia Petrochemical Industry Conference (APIC), which will be held for two days on May 30 and 31, 2024, at the Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas.
Since 1979, the APIC has served as a platform for information exchange and communication, playing a crucial role in expanding business opportunities. The conference has become a significant forum for interaction among industry professionals from over 40 countries.
Under the theme "Trailblazing the Path in a Sustainable Era," this year’s conference will discuss opportunities for sustainable growth to address critical challenges of energy transition and carbon neutrality. In addition to the existing seven member countries, the Philippines has been invited, and various programs are scheduled to enhance networking.
I hope that the APIC will significantly contribute to strengthening collaboration among industries in the region, building a collaborative framework in the global petrochemical industry, and fostering sustainable development.
Seoul, the host city, boasts a vibrant 600-year cultural legacy and innovative industries. The city seamlessly blends traditional charm with modern advancements. Seoul promises unforgettable memories.
